The implementation of AI in healthcare provides an opportunity to measure & improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and improve overall population health. The Vector Institute, a new AAIH member, is Canada's leading non-profit organization working to use AI to achieve these improvements in quality and efficiency of care. Azra Dhalla, Vector's Director of Health Implementation, will describe the organization's priority projects for translating AI-based health research into real-world practice and lead a discussion of its lessons and implications for the Alliance's work.
