2020 AI + Health Leadership Summit

The Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare virtually hosted its inaugural AI + Healthcare Leadership Summit on June 4, 2020. The Summit featured Amy Abernethy M.D., Ph.D., Principal Deputy Commissioner of the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, in a “fireside chat” to discuss real-world examples of AI applications in therapeutic discovery and development, and FDA perspectives on how AI can best contribute to the COVID-19 response effort. Additional perspectives on the future of AI enabled healthcare were provided by other global thought leaders in the Healthcare AI community — including AI healthcare product and service companies, pharma, medtech, platform developers, and academia — to consider and discuss opportunities to accelerate the integration of AI into the modern healthcare system.
